On May 24 the Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir will visit Victoria and perform the first of two concerts of our lower Vancouver Island mini-tour, titled “Stand By Me” as a featured song.
In 2018 our choir and Victoria’s popular “Starlight Pops” mixed voice choir collaborated in a sold-out concert at the Dunnet theatre.
We're delighted to accept a return invitation from Starlight to sing with them again on Friday May 24th, 7:30pm in a “Stand By Me” concert at U Vic’s Farquhar Theatre.
With the larger Farquhar venue, you'll have a unique opportunity to see and hear Starlight Pops and the VWMC …together, more than a hundred singers, sing a repertoire of popular music and Celtic traditionals. We look forward to seeing you there.
